Is It Ever OK For A Man To Hit A Woman?
My philosophy on this issue for both men and women when being verbally or physically abused is that of Oprah,"when you see crazy, cross the damn street"!
In the case of men, they are stronger, and can restrain a woman long enough to then "get the hell out of Dodge, never to return". Anytime your mate resolves problems with abuse just know that he/she has some serious issues, and you need to remove them permanently from your life - quick and in a hurry before someone gets seriously injured or killed. Think Jodie Arais and Travis Alexander.
Many people believe they have the right to verbally and/or physically abuse their mates when they make them mad or cheat on them. No you don't! Be they your spouse or significant other, you don't own them nor can you control them. Not only that relationships are about mutual respect. If someone angers or hurts you so badly you resort to bad behavior such as verbal or physical abuse - you are obviously unsuitable for each other and you should end the relationship.
If you are putting up with bad behavior such as this, be you male or female, you need to ask yourself why you are putting up with being treated so shabbily, as obviously your self-love and self-esteem is not where it needs to be, and you too have some issues that need to be resolved. It's never OK for anyone to verbally or physically abuse another no matter their gender - it is far easier and safer to just walk away.
So, do you think it is ever OK for a man to hit a woman? Comment and let me know your thoughts.
